Background

Example

In 2005, Center of Thai Language was created under cooperation between Royal University of Phnom Penh with Rajaphat Buriram University supported by Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA). Non-degree Program was the first program to teach Thai Language to RUPPs’ Students. This program requires students to study for 4 years (only part-time). After that, in 2012, we had Minor Credit program that students could study Thai language for 3 years, nd the scores of students were reported in Transcripts. In 2013, we started to open Thai Short Course program to give opportunity other students that were not RUPPs’ students could study Thai language. Furthermore, this program was supporting program for Bachelor degree program as well. Approved by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, on 09 September 2014, Center of Thai language became the Department of Thai.

Admission

Example

All applicants wishing to study in the Department of Thai must undergo a two-stage application process. Recent high school graduates applying for a scholarship must do so through the Higher Education applications process before their final year 12 examinations. Particular attention is paid to applicants’ results in the High School Certificate subject of Moral and Civic Education. Successful applicants are then required to sit entrance examination administered by the Department of Thai. Those students applying for a fee-paying place within the Department of Thai, while not necessarily recent high school graduates, are required to sit the same two-stage Department-administered entrance examination.

RUPP-HR4Asia

The irruption of Human Resource Management (HRM) as a strategic element for quality development of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is relatively recent. Few decades back and until our days, HR approaches just focused on staff recruitment, employment contracts and payment

Mission

RUPP’s CEC is dedicated to promoting individual and community economic status and providing Cambodian of all ages, professions, ethnicities, and background with a wide variety of lifelong learning opportunities.

Goal

    • On-going assessment (50%), based on class tests, homework, assignments, oral presentations and class participation, and
    • Formal Examination (50%) taken by all students at the end of semester.
  2. Promotion
